1. Download and install the Airbnk app on your mobile device. This app is available for Android, iOS, and iPadOS on the respective app store. Make sure you have an Internet connection, Bluetooth is turned on and you are within 2 meters of the smart lock.
  2. Launch the app and register/login via:
    1. Phone: 
      1. Tap the +86 button and select your country code, enter your mobile phone number on the Mobile number input field.
      2. Tap the PIN button to receive an SMS with a verification code valid for 10 minutes and enter it on the Verification Code input field.
      3. Log In.
    2. Email: 
      1. Enter your email address on the Email address input field.
      2. Tap the PIN button to receive an email with a verification code valid for 10 minutes and enter it on the Verification Code input field.
      3. Log in.
  3. When logged in, you will be redirected to the My Device page with a list of all your paired devices, if any.
  4. Press the + button and scan the QR code that comes with the lock. This code can be found inside the battery cover.
  5. After the scan, the app will ask you to name the binding equipment. The name you choose is not important.
  6. Tap OK.
  7. The app will take you back to the My Device page. Here, press the recently added lock from the list of devices.
  8. Wait for the lock to finish connecting. The status can be seen on the big middle button by the green color or either opened/closed text.
  9. Tap the Set button below it and navigate to Configure device information. Wait for the lock status to be connected.
  10. Find the direction your door opens looking from inside of the room (where the lock is going to be/or is installed) to the outside and set the Choose open direction setting accordingly.
    1. Left to right: tap the Left button and make sure it is red.
    2. Right to left: tap the Right button and make sure it is red.
  11. Locate the Auto-lock setting, select it and make sure it is red.
    1. A new setting called Lock Timing will appear. Select the amount of seconds you want the door to remain open until it automatically closes. *Note: We recommend no more than 20 seconds.
  12. Tap the Configuration lock button and a Note will appear. Select OK, so that the modified settings are transfered to the lock. The Airbnk app will take you back to the Settings page.
  13. Check if the setup is as desired by navigating to the My Device page and then clicking on the lock from the list of devices, wait for it to connect (the status is displayed on the big middle button by the green color or either opened/closed text), once the button turns green drag it left or right to the desired operation to lock/unlock respectively.
    1. If happy with the setup tap the Set button and jump to step 14.
    2. If not happy with the setup repeat the steps from 9 through 13.
  14. Now select Delete at the bottom of the page. The app will take you back to the My Device page where the lock we just configured will not be listed.
  15. You can now leave the app and proceed with the standard Homeit configuration. When asked to pair the lock with the homeitBOX, hold the lock button until a blue light appears (found inside the battery cover). This will place the lock in pairing mode.
